30 July 2007 Termokimik to supply SCR systems and Wet FGD Desulphurisation system for 2x160 MW HFO Units in San Filippo del Mela Power Plant (EDIPOWER).
Termokimik has signed a contract for Engineering, Procurement and Construction on turnkey basis for the retrofit of 2x160 MW HFO with SCR systems in High Dust Configuration upstream ESP and a single tower FGD system for the desulphurisation of both units. Considering that the ESPs have been supplied by Termokimik and successfully started-up in 2002 and 2003, the Power Plant will soon have an Air Quality Control System (AQCS) entirely supplied by Termokimik.

31 May 2007 Termokimik to supply SCR system and CO reduction in HRSG for Combined Cycle in HERA – Imola Plant.

Termokimik has been awarded by Macchi, leading Italian Boiler manufacturer part of Sofinter group, for the supply of a Selective Catalytic Reduction System and CO reduction system to be installed inside a Heat recovery Steam Generator (by Macchi) for Imola Combined Cycle.
This plant is one of the few examples in Europe of combined reduction of NOX and CO on Natural Gas Firing, and will allow to reduce such pollutants to levels dramatically lower than limits in force.

ITALIANS WIN KAYAN BOILER WORK
by MEED on-line magazine, 9 Aug 2007
A Milan-based grouping of MACCHI and TERMOKIMIK Corporation has won an estimated $90 million contract to supply two oil boilers and an associated air quality control system plant to SAUDI KAYAN Petrochemical Company.
Under the terms of the 20-month contract, the two firms will supply two boilers producing 700 tonnes per hour of steam, related auxiliary equipment and selective catalytic reduction systems for nitrous oxide reduction, particulate removal, fly-ash handling and wet limestone flue gas desulphurisation.
The project is the first time that boilers on a grassroots petrochemical complex will use crude oils as a fuel in the kingdom. Together with the associated flue gas treatment, the move will ensure emissions are kept at levels set by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
With an estimated development cost of $8,000 million, Saudi Kayan, which comprises 13 separate downstream units, will be the largest stand-alone petrochemicals complex ever built.
