Termokimik to build a complete Waste to Energy Installation for ACEGAS-APS in Padova (Unit 3).Termokimik will build on turnkey basis the third unit of the Padova Waste to Energy plant.
The new unit is equipped with a water-cooled horizontal grate by Martin, Germany, and is to thermally treat max. 300 tonnes of residual waste and up to 10 tonnes of hospital waste a day to produce approximately 10 MWe.
The Air Quality Control System (AQCS), entirely based on Termokimik technology, will include two steps of Dry Flue Gas Treatment (1 bag filter with lime injection followed by 1 bag filter with Bicarbonate Injection) for acid gas pollutants, both with the possibility to treat heavy metals and dioxins by absorption on PAC. Nitrogen oxides will be reduced by a low temperature SCR system positioned at the end of the AQCS train.
